VILLAGE PARK RENOVATION PROJECT – Community Meetings Scheduled – May 2 & 16 from 2-4 p.m.

Merrill Village Park Renovation Project

Purpose: To examine and improve the existing parks infrastructure including drainage, playground equipment, baseball/softball diamonds, basketball courts, walking paths, picnic areas, bleachers, landscaping, solar lighting etc.

Public Input: Community meetings will be held on Saturday, May 2^nd from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 16^th from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. in the park under at the large pavilion.

The agenda for each meeting:

1. To gather ideas from village residents on how to improve the aesthetic appeal of the park.
2. For example, what ideas would improve the parks overall appeal? Tennis courts? Pickle Ball Courts? A Splash Park?
3. Most important bring your ideas!

Primary Goal: To envision how the Merrill Village Park can meet the needs of its current/future population by creating an action plan for the village council finding ways and the resources needed for financing this village project.
